1.9.1 Boot-Time CFG_COM1 Configuration (LEA-5S, LEA-5A)

The LEA-5S and LEA-5A provide a CFG_COM1 pin for boot-time configuration.It becomes effective

immediatelyafterstart-up.Oncethemodulehasstarted,theconfigurationsettingsmaybemodifiedwithUBX

configurationmessages.TheBaudratecanbechangedusingtheCFG-PRTmessageandthemessagescan be

changedusingCFG-MSG. Themodifiedse

ttingsremaineffectiveuntilpower-downorreset.Ifthesesettings

have been stored in battery-backup RAM, then the modified configuration will be retained, as long as the

backupbatterysupplyisnotinterrupted.


